The 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai (Japanese: メリケンレジェンド妖怪 Meriken Rejendo Yōkai) are a set of Legendary Yo-kai that hail from BBQ.

Half of the 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai first debuted in Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi and Tempura (The Last Nyanmurai, Koma Star, Platinos, and Flash T. Cash). In Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki, the remaining four 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai are introduced (Gabby, Teducator, City Licker, and Gentlemutt)[1] to complete the set of 8.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the Legendary Yo-kai from past games, the Yo-kai Medallium does not hold their Legend Pages, for they don't have any. The 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai must be found in the overworld and befriended like any other special event Yo-kai.
  • All of the 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai are based off of a normal Legendary Yo-kai:
  • The only 4 'Merican Legendary Yo-kai that were not introduced in the original anime series were Platinos, Flash T. Cash, Teducator, and Gentlemutt.
  • As half of the 'Merican Legendaries were introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3, Gabby is the first time a Legendary of the Charming tribe is seen past a Legendary of the Heartful tribe.
