A Cicada Professional is a Key Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest can be started by talking to a man on the steps up to Mt. Wildwood. It is recommended to be completed around Level 2. Since it is a Key Quest, the player is forced to complete it to progress with the story.

Upon talking to the man, he tells the player about his son's birthday that is coming up and asks the player to catch a Brown Cicada. Before catching the bug, the man also requests for it to be a normal Brown Cicada - a rare one is not needed. By catching the Cicada, the man is happy for the bug and thanks the player for catching it for his son.

- On the way home from Mt. Wildwood, a man asked us to find a cicada for him. He doesn't want a rare one, just a plain Brown Cicada, the king found in the trees on Mt. Wildwood.

- On the way home from Mt. Wildwood, a man asked us to find a cicada for him. We managed to find him a plain Brown Cicada, and he was really happy! Helping people out feels good!
Guidance[]
- Brown Cicadas can be found on trees on Mount Wildwood. They can't be found in bamboo groves, so don't look for them there.

- This is the very first quest the player receives in the game.
