The Abandoned Tunnel (Japanese: おおもり山の廃トンネル O omori yama no hai ton'neru) is an old mine that appears in the Yo-kai Watch series. It is located in Mount Wildwood.
Overview[]
The Abandoned Tunnel East
The Abandoned Tunnel is an old, abandoned mine split into west and east sides. This area normally serves as an optional dungeon, found in some sidequests in the games. It is the home of Boss Yo-kai Duwheel. It also serves as a gateway to the Shrine Behind the Waterfall. The player traverses across mine cart tracks while riding mine carts, some which need certain items to use. Switches control the positions and directions of the mine carts.

Yo-kai Watch[]
This area serves as an optional dungeon, and houses the boss fight with Duwheel after a short sidequest in the tunnels.
Yo-kai Watch 2[]
The dungeon is visited during Treasure Hunters Pt. 2 and Treasure Hunters Pt. 3. During the former, Duwheel is rematched, and in the latter, the player visits the Shrine Behind the Waterfall. The mine carts are initially blocked off by Ledballoons who must be found with the Yo-kai Watch and battled before the mine carts can be used.
The western area features eight yellow treasure boxs. One is at a dead end past the eastern-most track, one is in the west of the circular section past the initial track, one is atop a small raised platform in the west from the track with two paths, three are in a secret area in the north-west which the player can find from the far north-west, one is east of the room where Duwheel resides and one is directly south of the entrance to the eastern area.
The eastern area features seven yellow treasure boxs. One is in a secret area not shown on the map in the west with the path being in the south-west of the starting platform. One is on the south-western platform past the southern splitting track, one is in the far north-west through a hidden passage, one is in the far north-east, one is on an elevated platform that must be fallen onto in the centre of the northern section, one is in the far east of the eastern section from the northern splitting track and one is in the centre east below this treasure box and past another track.
Yo-kai Watch 3[]
The Abandoned Tunnel is initially locked behind a Rank D watch lock. The area before the entrance to the East tunnel is blocked off by blocks that can be drilled with the Yo-kai drill. The East tunnel and the Shrine Behind the Waterfall can only be reached using the Spewart helicopter. The tunnel itself is returned to in the Jumping Jackrabbits! What a case! quest, where Duwheel is refought once again.
