Akiko (Japanese: アキコ Akiko) is an Alien from the planet Doggie and a member of the Doggy Special Task Force summoned by Elna in Y School Heroes.

Akiko's introduction in Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life
Akiko is a small humanoid white and orange akita. She has green glass-like eyes and a teal tongue. Her head is orange with white around her facial features. She has two blue diamonds on the sides of her head like earrings and the inside of her ears are white. She is wearing an orange dress with a white segmented belt and black diamonds at the side of her thighs. She has a white cape over her shoulders with a stand-up collar, a black rim around the collar and orange, black and light green shapes on the front. Orange arrow shapes are down her outer upper arms and she is wearing black knee high boots with green toes and small blue diamonds down the front in different shades. She has a large fluffy tail, half and half white and orange with black and green bands around the base.

Akiko is an airhead and a bit dim witted. In her introduction, she is shown chasing a butterfly absent-mindedly. She seems to take pleasure in fighting, especially when she can use her cancelling skill against her enemy. However, she may rely on this too much as she forgets to think when using it, eventually causing her downfall. She has a habit of sticking out her tongue and using the verbal tick 'daemon.'

Akiko appears as a boss alongside the rest of the Doggy Special Task Force at Fuki Tower. She has a medium amount of health. She has a long laser shot attack and a laser attack shared with the other dogs. She has a dash attack, a standard shot, a long but thin laser attack and a laser attack shared with the other dogs. During her laser attack, she has extremely high defense.
She can be used as a helper alien with her medal which can be dropped by defeating her. As a helper she uses all four attacks as a boss and is mobile in battle.

Akiko first appeared in YG024 along with the rest of the task force in silhouette. She made her proper debut in YG041. She fights one-on-one with Clock Lady. Clock Lady attempts to stop time but Akiko has the ability to cancel skills and punches her. She is later seen continuously punching her but Little Kommander intervenes, using Weightless Hand to lift a large boulder. Akiko laughs, noting how she can use her skill to stop it but ends up cancelling it while the boulder is above her, crushing her.
Etymology[]
"Akiko" comes from "Akita," a breed of dog. It may be combined with 'ko' a suffix that means little, child or girl.
