Arle Nadja (Japanese: アルル・ナジャ,Aruru Naja) is a Rank ZZZ Yo-kai of the Mysterious tribe exclusively in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble. She is a character from the Puyo Puyo series, appearing as the main protagonist of the earlier games, and can be considered the main protagonist of the entire franchise.
She also has an Rank SS alternate form known as Arle (Original) (Japanese: アルル (元祖),Aruru (Ganzo)).
Arle's appearance differs between games, but she normally wears blue and white clothes, and she has orange hair and golden brown eyes. In her current outfit, she sports a white shirt over a blue skirt, blue boots with white stripes, blue and white wristbands, a blue breastplate, blue shoulder pads and a blue and red cape.
In her original form, Arle wears an outfit more reminiscent of her appearance in the earlier Compile era games. Her outfit now consists of a white singlet over a blue dress, blue boots, a blue wristband and a blue and gold belt around her torso. She also wears a blue band in her hair, forming a ponytail. She is said to wear her clothes in a white and blue color scheme to honor her missing father.
According to Arle herself in Super Puyo Puyo Tsu, she wears the same clothes 365 days a year.
Personality[]
Arle is a cheery girl who can be considered a tomboy. In Puyo Puyo Tetris, she states that she hates proper etiquette, such as hand sanitation. She acts as the straight man of the cast, especially in the earlier games or when dealing with Satan. She doesn't hold grudges, though, as she doesn't seem to hate Satan. She uses the masculine pronoun "ボク (boku)" in the Japanese version when referring to herself, and has no interest in feminine behaviors.
Abilities[]
Arle is an expert at using spells, even when she was in kindergarten. Arle (Original)'s Soultimate move is Fire, one of her most common spells. Her ZZZ form's Soultimate, Bayeon, is her signature move.
Arle could be obtained from the Crank-a-kai during the "PuyoPuyo Collaboration" Event that lasted from March 15, 2022, to March 31, 2022, dealing more damage against Satan slingshots and against the Masked Satan impossible stage.
Arle (Original) could be obtained from the daily login bonus of the "PuyoPuyo Collaboration" Event that lasted from March 15, 2022, to March 31, 2022. She was available on days 1, 5, 9, and 13. She could also be obtained from the Puyo Puyo Crank-a-kai.
