In the anime[]
The Banter Bakery makes a cameo in The Rare One, where Nate's mother comes back from the place after she manages to get a well-crafted whoopee pie (curry bread in the Japanese version), which is the result of her being inspirited by Yo-kai Noko.
The Bakery fully makes an appearance in Yo-kai Buhu, where Nate wants to get some donuts (melon bread in the original version) only to find too many people in the queue. When the queue eventually moves, it had all been bought.
In Yo-kai Gargaros, Nate, Jibanyan and Whisper wants to visit the Banter Bakery to get some food from there, without getting permission from his mother, causing Terror Time to happen.
In Yo-kai Enefly, Eddie lines up to buy a sweetloaf before it was taken by the last customer, until Enefly inspirits him and the person gives the food to Eddie.
In Damona's Oshinobi ☆ Hyakkiyako, Damona travels to the bakery to try and find melon bread.
In real life[]
There was originally a real-life Akkan Bakery that was located at the Yoroz Mart store in Fukuoka, Japan. Unlike the in-universe counterpart, they sold bread and cakes themed after Jibanyan and Komasan, drinks based around some of the Fruitnyans and several extra items such as a unique tote bag and water bottle.
For a limited time during Silver Week in Japan, there was a portable Banter Bakery truck that drove around Japan and sold a smaller selection of the items.
The Akkan Bakery was closed down on February 24, 2019, along with the Yoroz mart store in Fukuoka.

Trivia[]
- In the anime, there's a specific item that isn't sold at all in the games, which is of melon bread (called "Sweet Loaf" in the English dub).
- The English dub of the Yo-kai Watch anime has an inconsistency where the curry bread is renamed to whoopee pies. In other foreign dubs, they were simply renamed to bread or beignets.
- The fact that Damona can be fought outside the bakery in Yo-kai Watch 4 is a reference to how she loves the Melon Bread from the bakery in the anime.
