Bishasha appeared in the "Puni-gami's Darkness ~Incarnation of Darkness: Puni-Gami's Kegare Birth~" Event that lasted from February 1, 2023, to February 14, 2023. There was a chance that he could be befriended in the event limited Crank-a-kai. He had the bonus defense and damage in the Chou Kakusei Seiryuu Gates. Additionally, he had the defense and damage bonus against the Orochi Kegare stage in the fourth map.

Bishasha is based on a Pishacha (पिशाच) flesh-eating demons in Indian religions, appearing in Hindu and Buddhist mythologies. A pishacha is a malevolent being that has often been referred to as the very manifestation of evil.

- Bishasha is the only yo-kai to call the main protagonist a bastard.
