Well it seem that they are ending the Shadowside series, in favor of the revival of the new series that will pick up where Episode 214 had left off. And it is a shame for the Shadowside sereis, but at least Nate is coming back with the new Elda watch. But will they revive the shadowside saga or not? Do you feel sad that the Shadowside sereis is ending?

I would think a werewolf Yo-kai could be a Humanoid type of Yo-kai in Lightside form and a more wofl like Yo-kai in Shadowside form (since that's what a werewolf is) and maybe could even be part human part Yo-kai (similar to Nezumi Otoko from Gegege no Kitaro)

Another 'merican Yokai I wouldn't mind seeing is one based off of the urban legend of alligators living in sewers.

We have something similar, an alligator yo-kai called Ottamagator.
This. OMGator (in both of his names) was a pun on extreme shock, plus his attire as a wild hunter.

Well, you put it nicely. In fact, monster "facts" such as Werevolves being weak to silver or the Frankenstein monster being created through the use of lighting are all stuff added by Universal movies. None of the original European account has any of these "myths about monster myths".

The same thing can be said about the vampire. Hell, I think vampires have more weaknesses than werewolves! They die in sunlight, they die when exposed to religious items, they can't cross running water, they have to return to their coffin that's filled with their native soil, THEY CAN'T COME INTO YOUR HOUSE UNLESS THEY'RE INVITED!!! And get this: they also can't touch silver, either! What, did the werewolf weakness pass onto them as well?!

Yep... all you said is right, but that's not the point of this issue. As I said before, those are more fitting being dubbed Western Yo-kai in Kitaro than 'Merican Yo-kai there. Also most 'Merican Yo-kai are similar to normal Yo-kai in the sense that they effect people and their surroundings through Inspiriting.
