Don't Give into the Dark Side! is the 10th chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
Plot[]
Nate is talking about Eddie while he, Jibanyan and Whisper walk down the street. Jibanyan notices a coin on the ground and Nate picks it up. Nate states he wants to buy comics but Jibanyan wants to buy snacks. Jibanyan sneers at Nate, telling him it's not going to be worth reading. The two of them tell Whisper to decide but Whisper tells them to hand it in to the police which the two aren't happy about. Just then, someone shouts about a shoplifter and they run towards the group. Jibanyan trips them and picks up the snacks the shoplifter dropped and begins to run however he gets hit by a car. He states that he was so tempted to take them. Nate suspects that both Jibanyan and the shoplifter were inspirited so searches for a Yo-kai.
He finds Negasus who explains that he makes people do bad things that they wouldn't usually do. Nate is angry at Negasus' actions so summons Happierre to cheer up Negasus. He succeeds but Happierre picks up some snacks of his own. Nate decides to summon another Yo-kai so summons Mochismo however Negasus strikes him straight away. Mochismo steals items just like Happierre and runs away however Negsus is stuck to Mochismo's mochi skin and gets dragged along with him. He quickly flies away but is still stuck and flings back from the rebound of the stretchy mochi. As he flies towards the street, Nate jumps up and grabs him however still flies towards the busy street. The both of them are saved and Negasus is shocked that Nate helped him. Nate states that he must have been tempted to. Negasus promises to only tempt people to do things that will help from no one and gives Nate his medal.
Jibanyan suggests they should celebrate making a new friend by eating their snacks and everyone agrees. Nate quickly realises they're eating the snacks they stole but Jibanyan says he bought them with the coin they found much to Nate's dismay.

Negasus and Daiz are a stand up duo. Negasus introduces himself but Daiz stays quiet. He ushers Daiz on to say hello and slaps him. Daiz headbutts Negasus but quickly recoils, saying it was too tempting.
