The Legendary Luxurious Yo-kai! is the 24th chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
Plot[]
Nate is overjoyed and Whisper asks why. Nate explained he used his holiday money to buy a bicycle. Whisper asks if he can ride it and Nate says he can but is unsure how he will without legs. Whisper grows long legs and cycles off. Nate then notices Katie with her own bicycle. Nate goes up to her happily but Katie looks distressed. Whisper tells Nate to talk to her but Nate is worried about what to say. Nate decides to call Tattletell to make Katie explain what's wrong. Katie explains that she borrowed her mother's diamond ring but dropped it and didn't see it fall off. Nate pipes up, saying he'll help her but still under the influence of Tattletell, Katie states she don't think Nate will be able to help.
Nate decides to summon Noko so that they can find the ring easily but a rolling Yo-kai stops him from doing so. The Yo-kai crashes into a house in front of Nate. Nate is shocked that the Yo-kai is made completely of diamond. The Yo-kai reveal himself as Dianyan. Dianyan speaks highly of himself and shows off a diamond ring. Nate tells Dianyan that the ring isn't his but Dianyan just thinks Nate wants it because of its value. Nate calls Dianyan a burglar because he took it from the street, making Dianyan distraut. Dianyan admits defeat much to Nate's joy but he simply admits that he will be a burglar from now on. Nate decides to summon Jibanyan to deal with him. Jibanyan appears in a uniform with a pickaxe. He explains to Nate he was working because he has to save up for a new collar. Jibanyan sees that Dianyan is wearing his collar and Dianyan explains that he found it on the street. A frustrated Jibanyan tries to attack Dianyan but his punches are no use against his diamond body. However, Jibanyan managed to steal the ring while Dianyan was distracted. Dianyan begs for the ring back in exchange for his collar but Jibanyan is more than pleased with his new ring. Jibanyan suddenly remembers that his collar is one of his only mementos of Amy and grows mad that Dianyan threw it on the ground.
Dianyan tries to attack Jibanyan but since his body is so hard, he struggles to even get close to him. After he falls over, he decides to use a rolling attack instead. Jibanyan throws Nate's bike in his path to stop him much to Nate's dismay. Dianyan easily crushes the bike and rolls after them. He however stops to vomit after getting too dizzy. Jibanyan picks up his collar but while he's distracted, Dianyan approaches him and punches him, sending him flying. Although Dianyan describes his attack as powerful, Jibanyan instantly appears behind him again, revealing that he used Whisper to break his fall. Jibanyan attacks Dianyan again and all his punches cause Dianyan to crack. He eventually falls apart and Jibanyan reveals that he punched him with the ring. A worried Nate tries to repair the broken Dianyan much to Whisper's surprise and ends up putting him back together.
Dianyan explains that in the past humans would always steal his diamonds so he did the same in retaliation. Dianyan apologises and becomes friends with Nate - despite calling him a commoner - and gives him his medal. Dianyan gives Nate a diamond to repay for his bike but it is revealed to be one of his legs so Nate urges him to take it back. He explains that he only really wanted to get Katie's ring back however Jibanyan is running away with it. However, Jibanyan runs into Katie on her bike and she picks up the ring he dropped, returning home quickly. Nate is distraut he didn't get to give Katie the ring himself.
This chapter features a bonus manga that also appears in Yo-kai Watch.
Whisper sees Nate and Jibanyan and thinks they are about to fight. Jibanyan uses his Soultimate on Nate and Whisper begs him to stop however it is revealed that Jibanyan is giving him a massage.
