The Girl with Frozen Breath is the 35th chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
Plot[]
Frostina is curious about Nate
Nate sneezes on Whisper, noting how cold it is out despite it being Spring. Nate looks back at Whisper and realises he's frozen solid. Using his watch, Nate discovers Frostina who's beating herself up for freezing Whisper. She soon notices Nate looking at her and comes closer but ity's shocked that he can see her. She explains that she can't control her icy breath and accidently sneezed on Whisper, freezing him. Frostina beats herself up again but Nate asks her to stop and just help defrost Whisper. Frostina cries, saying she can't help and can only freeze things. Nate tries to thaw Whisper by rubbing and breathing on him. Frostina tries to help but simply freezes him again. She thinks Nate is mad at her but he just tries again.
Whisper introduces Frostina
Realising he can't do it alone, he summons Jibanyan. A rotund Jibanyan appears saying he's that shape because he tried to fit into a round hole. He sees Whisper frozen and decides to sit on him like an egg however it sounds like he's shattering him instead. Jibanyan then decides to eat the ice off him instead but notes that it'd be tastier with syrup. He instead decides to lick him and Nate helps too. Growing tired, Nate summons Manjimutt, thinking he'd be good at licking. Manjimutt appears but is revolted at the idea and instead pees on him. Despite the undignified method, Whisper is defrosted. Frostina is pleased that Whisper is alright but is sad she caused a problem in the first place. Nate reassures her that she's fine and that they can use her powers in a better way another time. Frostina bucks up the courage to ask to be Nate's friend and he agrees, recieving her medal. Frostina breathes out a sigh of relief but accidently freezes Jibanyan in the process.
