The Beautiful Yo-kai Who Absorbs Your Vitality! is the 37th chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.

Plot[]

Nate is shocked that Whisper is all wrinkly and realises he's aged into an old man. Suspicious of a Yo-kai, he searches with his watch stating it must be one. Whisper chastises him for calling him 'musty', mishearing Nate. However, the Yo-kai reveals themself anyway. Whisper tries to explain who they are but forgets, taking a sip of tea instead. The Yo-kai reveals herself to be Everfore and explains she stole whispers vitality to stay young herself. Nate urges Everfore to turn Whisper back but she refuses and instead takes Nate's youth too. Nate decides to summon Jibanyan to fight her but can't see his Yo-kai medals well enough to find the right one. Whisper tries to help but can't see either. In the end they just decide to call anyone to help.

Hungorge appears and Nate is surprised they managed to call another old person. Whisper asks Hungorge to find Jibanyan's medal but he ends up eating them. Despite this he does find Jibanyan's medal and they summon him though he eats him as soon as he appears. Thankfully, Hungorge lets him go but Everfore gets to Jibanyan, saying how cute he is and turning him old too. Everfore jokes that the more Yo-kai they summon, the younger she will get. Jibanyan begins to attack but actually attacks Hungorge for trying to eat him. Everfore butters up Jibanyan more, saying how powerful he is but simply drains more of his energy. Nate tells Jibanyan that Everfore is the one causing problems but Jibanyan is distracted at how old and funny the two look despite looking the same himself.

Everfore then turns to Hungorge who is still his usual self and tries to win him over. Hungorge is swayed but not because he was charmed but because he was hungry and starts to eat her. Everfore begs him to stop and returns everyone's vitality. Nate then tells Hungorge to let her go and Everfore is revealed to be an old woman. He tells Everfore off for stealing their energy but understands if she has to do it to stay alive. He suggests Everfore only take it from bad Yo-kai but Whisper states that bad Yo-kai are usually really strong. Nate adds that he'll protect Everfore to help her do that despite Whisper's objections. Everfore is overwhelmed and gives Nate her medal, promising to do what he suggested. Nate turns to Hungorge who is revealed to have absorbed the vitality originally from Everfore, making him a handsome young man.
