Making New Friends with a New Yo-kai Watch!! is the 81st chapter in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
Plot[]
Frostina is pleased to see Nate again
Nate is at home and summons Frostina to deal with a hot day. However, his Yo-kai watch doesn't seem to work. Nate worries that if his watch doesn't work he won't get to see his Yo-kai friends anymore. Whisper then presents Nate with a Model Zero watch although he won't explain it. He tries again to summon Frostina but the watch states that the medal is incompatible. Whisper then shows him a newer watch called the model U that works with all medals. Nate also notes that Whisper has a new Yo-kai pad. He asks why Whisper didn't buy the model U and Whisper explains he didn't have enough money to buy both. However as they complain, Hidabat throws them a model U watch which he won in a giveaway.
Blizzaria is happy she managed to help Nate and Whisper
Nate then successfully calls Frostina however she sneezes on Whisper, freezing him. Nate defrosts Whisper with a hairdryer while he asks Frostina to cool them down. Frostina isn't sure she can help since she can't control her ice powers fully until she evolves with a Glacial Clip. Hidabat then throws one out of the closet. Frostina takes it and transforms into Blizzaria, successfully cooling down Nate and Whisper. She is overjoyed she could help Nate after he helped her as Frostina. She then gives him her new medal. Nate is excited to meet more new Yo-kai but wonders where the new watch versions are coming from. Whisper notes that there might be other people nearby with a Yo-kai watch. Nate then wonders where Blizzaria went and Hidabat says she left to help more people. Nate then summons Jibanyan to try out the watch however he was in the middle of taking a bath. Meanwhile, Blizzaria approaches Hailey, happy she can see her.
