Eddie's Search is the eighth chapter of Yo-kai Watch.
Synopsis[]
During a trip to the museum, Nathan Adams/Katie Forester and Edward Archer hear rumors about a mysterious suit of armor walking around at night. So they decide to investigate.

Plot[]
The next day Nate/Katie remembers that they are seeing Eddie today. They walk over to his house in Breezy Hills and discover a B-Rank Watch Lock blocking the entrance (If you haven't already upgraded your watch, Whisper will comment on how strange it is for a watch lock to be here). After entering the house, Eddie says that he has two museum passes that are about to expire and asks if you want to go to the museum with him. Nate/Katie agrees and they take a trip to Gourd Pond Museum. After talking to Eddie three times about the exhibits, Eddie says he's interested in investigating the rumors surrounding a haunted suit of armor and asks if Nate/Katie wants to join him. Nate/Katie agrees and Eddie says that should meet back at the museum after dark.
Mirapo
As they prepare to find a way into the museum, Nate/Katie and Whisper find a strange mirror nearby that transports everyone to the main entrance inside of the museum. The mirror begins to talk and is revealed to actually be a Yo-kai known as Mirapo, who has been having trouble sleeping ever since the haunted suit of armor started causing trouble in the museum. As Eddie tries to figure out how they got into the museum, he decides to take this opportunity to hack into the museum's security system, as Nate/Katie searches for the haunted suit of armor. Mirapo says that the armor is locked up in the backroom, but they will need a key to get in. So using the help of the other Mirapo, they are able to warp to the other rooms of the museum to avoid triggering the security lasers, and find the key stashed in a potted plant.
Phantasmurai's True Identity
As they return downstairs, Eddie disarms the security lasers blocking the back room, and Nate/Katie uses the key to unlock the door. The suit of armor comes to life and begins to attack Nate/Katie. The Yo-kai controlling it is identified as Phantasmurai, but after taking a considerable amount of damage, it is revealed that a mouse was controlling the armor this entire time. The mouse flees and Mirapo thanks Nate/Katie for restoring peace to his home. He gives them his medal and says that if they manage to awaken any more Mirapo, they will be able to travel to previously listed areas instantaneously. (See Mirapo Warp Locations) Eddie finds it lame that the suit was being controlled by a mouse the entire time, but had fun solving the mystery with Nate/Katie.

- Despite there being no B-Rank Yo-kai in Eddie's house, a Watch Lock is placed in front of his door.
