Chippa has a similar appearance to Lodo. Chippa appears as a thin, pink-skinned boy with a huge happy grin on his face, showing a missing tooth. He has a single tuft of hair on his head and wears a tattered, patched-up blue cloak and worn, oversized geta.
When Chippa Inspirits someone, nothing will ever get them down. Not even a F- on a test.
Chippa appears in EX017 where he inspirits Bear and makes him shrug off failing a test, breaking a flower pot during class duty and losing save data on a video game. He survives a hit from a summoned Shogunyan (who was implied to be summoned begrudgingly by Whisper), he was instantly defeated by a laser beam from a Robonyan F/Shogunyan hybrid mecha. The scenes following implied the only thing that can break Chippa's calm demeanor was stepping on dog feces, and will proceed to wash his geta after doing so. He then gives Nate his Ark after being comforted, but his status is unknown as he trips and fall onto Poofessor's trivia deuce.
Etymology[]
Chippa's name is a reference to "chipping a tooth," or to the phrase "chip a tooth." His design shows this same exact case. It might also be a corruption of "chipper."
"Opti" is a shortening of "Optimista" (Optimistic).
"Heita" is a corruption of "heiter" (cheerful).
"Gandistraído" combines "Ganhador" (Winner) and "distraído" (inattentive).
"Optimio" is a corruption of "Ottimista" (Optimist).
