Biology[]
Crystal Shogunyan is a Cat Yo-kai who greatly resembles Shogunyan.
He has purple fur, a yellow nose, as well as yellow wisps on his tails. Unlike most Cat Yo-kai, his fur has a bright sheen to it.
The samurai armor he wears seems to be made of crystal, and there is a sun emblem on his helmet, rather than a moon like Shogunyan has.

There is a chance of obtaining Crystal Shogunyan as a prize when clearing the "Labyrinth of Crystal" (Japanese: クリスタルの迷宮 Kurisutaru no Meikyū) dungeon and besting him in battle.
The dungeon can be accessed with the item "Crystal Stone ∞" (Japanese: クリスタルストーン∞ Kurisutaru Sutōn Mugen). Which can be obtained by scanning the following QR code:

Etymology[]
Crystal Bushinyan is derived from "crystal" and "Bushinyan" (see Shogunyan#Etymology).
His English name, Crystal Shogunyan, is the same as his Japanese name, albeit with Shogunyan's English name.

- Before he was officially released in Yo-kai Watch Busters 2, he appeared in the credits.
- Crystal Shogunyan and Boogiemum are two Yo-kai from Yo-kai Watch Busters 2 to have a western localized name in English, in the Yo-kai Watch manga series.
- In merchandise, Crystal Shogunyan is often associated with the Gemnyans.
