Strongly resembling her alternate-color counterpart in Blizzaria, she is a pale-skinned Yo-kai with bright purple eyes who floats in the air. She has long dark purple hair with indigo tips, pulled into a ponytail with a black Glacial Clip. She wears a black robe with gray snow print on the bottom edges and a dark pink band that goes around the waist with a bow on the back. Her toed sandals are black with raspberry-hued straps. Despite this appearance, she is actually an Oni.
It has been stated that she traded her ability to feel emotions for her immense power. However, this is false. In Yo-kai Watch 3, it is revealed that she merely pretends to lack emotions, first dropping the act when she was eating tasty food and believed that no one was watching.
Plundros is her father. At first, she seems to not care about him. However, Plundros has Hailey and Usapyon pretend to be shady people and threaten Damona before "fighting" Plundros in an attempt to see if she would react. After witnessing her father's defeat, she attempts to use her Soultimate on Hailey and Usapyon, revealing that she really does care about her father, and that she acted the way she did because she was afraid that Plundros wouldn't spend as much time with her.
After being released from the Crank-a-kai where she was imprisoned, she commands the player to become friends with her.
In the anime, Damona is usually sharp-tongued, high-handed and usually gave other people bad nicknames, like Poofessor in the Recap Time corner, but will immediately drop them when looking and eating tasty food, similar to how she was portrayed in Yo-kai Watch 3.
Damona has a combination of Ice and Dark powers, using her dark powers to curse her opponents and lower their stats. Her Soultimate in Japanese is "Tokimeki Hyakiyakou", a time when evil spirits roam the earth. Her Cursed Skin ability gives her an All-Stats-Up boost when under the effect of an enemy inspirit.
In season 3 of the anime, she often invites Nate over to her home when talking to other Yo-kai. This may be because Nate has grown popular among Yo-kai and holds some respect for him and his negotiation skills.
When they first met, Damona didn't really care for the two, snapping at them to never tell her father about her facade of emotions. Once the duo started to fight Plundros and injured him, she was incensed and would have attacked Usapyon and Hailey if not for Plundros' interference and explanation of the ordeal. With things cleared up, the duo and Damona are now on good terms. She is also seen fighting alongside them after Hailey and Usapyon were brainwashed by the Ghoulfather in one of Yo-kai Watch 3's sidequests, suggesting that they may have formed a stronger bond overtime.
Damona can be freed from the Crank-a-kai with a Pink Coin, Special Coin, or Five-Star Coin in the present. In Psychic Specters, she can also be freed from the Happy-Go-Lucky Crank-a-kai.
Damona can also be encountered 10,000 meters into the Infinite Tunnel.
Damona is unlocked by downloading the game digitally. After downloading digitally and updating to version 1.1, the player can download the Damona Tag off the internet from the menu and receive an item to battle Damona. Once the item is received, Damona can be battled repeatedly in Uptown Springdale next to the bakery after completing Chapter 3.
Damona first appears in EP187, where she leaves Hell to go get melon bread. Though, she gets distracted by other food, before stealing the item she was after and arriving back in Hell.
