Darknyan Shuku wears a light blue kimono that has white circle patterns on it, he wears a white lace that is tied by yellow and red laces, under it he also wears purple baggy pants that have pink circle patterns. On his head there is a golden fan that has the kanji "祝" on it.
Darknyan Shuku appeared in the "『Yo-kai Watch Series』 11th Anniversary Event Jigoku Ogama VS Jigoku Tsuchigumo ~Super Yo-kai Battle~" Event that lasted from July 1, 2024, to July 16, 2024. There was a chance of befriending him in the limited Series 11th Anniversary Gasha, giving the damage and defense bonus on the Jigoku Orochi Boss stage located on the Decisive Battle: Bony Spirits (Main Camp) (Japanese: 決戦・元祖軍 (本陣),Kessen: Ganzo-gun (Honjin)) map. Additionally, he gives more score/damage in Wobblewok Nyantos Cola boards.
