Deserted House, also referred to in-game as Abandoned House or Derelic House, is a building located in San Fantastico that appears in the Yo-kai Watch games. After linking different versions of Yo-kai Watch 2, the player can speak to Mister E outside the house to receive the Spooky Key, allowing them to enter.
Found within is an Eyepo, a Mirapo (A one-way teleport to the entrance), and a door at the opposing end to where the player enters, with a white glow behind it. When interacted with, the door teleports the player to Mystery Way.
Overview[]
It is a singular-floor Derelict House located southeast of San Fantastico Station Plaza next to a cliff edge. Its exterior appears to be made of wooden planks many containing gaps. The roof also radiates the same handmade aesthetic as the rest of the building, being made out of scraps of multi-coloured corrugated metal.
In Yo-kai Watch 2, two children stand outside the house and express excitement in anticipation of jumping into the water below.
In the games[]
Yo-kai Watch 2[]
In Yo-kai Watch 2, the building is immediately accessible when the player first reaches San Fantastico and obtains the Spooky Key from Mister E. The house contains various marine scenery including fishing gear, scuba diving equipment and a long banner across most of the far wall illustrating a fish that resembles a red snapper. More importantly, Deserted House features an Eyepo, Mirapo, and the entrance to Mystery Way. The building serves no other purpose than to be a crossing between Mystery Way and the rest of the game.
Yo-kai Watch 3[]
In Yo-kai Watch 3's initial Japanese release this building was unavailable, as only the station road was accessable in San Fantastico at that point, however in localized releases or Japanese copies updated to the 3.0 version of the game the building is present within San Fantastico. The house contains a lone Yellow Chest that is located infront of the door that was formerly the Mystery Way entrance in Yo-kai Watch 2, the appearance of the building in Yo-kai Watch 3 is identical to it's appearance in Yo-kai Watch 2. Mister E is no longer present infront of the building in Yo-kai Watch 3.
Yo-kai Watch Blasters[]
The exterior of the Deserted House appears in Yo-kai Watch Blasters in San Fantastico missions, however it serves no functional purpose and is identical in appearance to its appearance in Yo-kai Watch 2. Mister E is no longer present infront of the building in Yo-kai Watch Blasters.
