Directator's All-Star Cast is a quest in Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters. The quest can be started by talking to Directator in Springdale Central Station in Downtown Springdale and is recommended to be completed around Level 11.

Quest

The protagonist walks in on a Yo-kai muttering about not finding talent. They don't know them but Whisper seems shocked, explaining it is Directator, a Yo-kai film maker. Directator explains he's scouting for human actors however can't recruit them as they can't see him. Directator suddenly realises the protagonist can see him, Whisper explaining they have the Yo-kai Watch. Directator asks that they help him scout for talent. The protagonist accepts, Directator telling them that he has very specific roles he needs filling. He states that all the actors must be able to see Yo-kai so they can talk to him. The actors he needs are:

• A fiery, middle-aged man with a bow tie, pointy hair, and an eye-catching beard.
• A somewhat-stout, older, bald man wearing black clothes.
• A total weirdo with a flashy thingy on his bushy head.
• A strong-willed woman in white with unnecessarily high energy.
• A classy, refined lady. A single gal wearing a kimono.

Once all the actors are found, the protagonist is taken to Gera Gera Land. Directator tells them that they're running away from a monster for the film. He states that the protagonist is the monster for the film so they must chase the other actors around the set. Once done, they return to the station, Directator helping them for their work. Whisper asks for film revenue but he instead gives them the Movies app for the Yo-kai Pad as well as the Movie Materials app.

The next day, Whisper is looking at his Yo-kai pad and states that Directator won some awards for his movie. The protagonist sees a shot from the movie and is disappointed by their appearance as the monster.

Pre-quest

• Directator, the self-styled genius Yo-kai filmmaker, needs help casting a movie.

During quest

• Directator, who calls himself the "genius Yo-kai filmmaker," is looking for actors. And he found me...to help him with that. He's at Springdale Central Station if I need him to list the actors for me again.
• Directator chose five actors for his movie, and then he whisked us all away to the filming location. Now I've been cast as a monster! Filming will start when I talk to Directator! ACTION!

Quest complete

• Directator wrapped up his film without incident...mostly. The actors were sent back, and we got a gift. The movie has already won some Yo-kai film awards! But...they used my real face?! No way!

Guidance

• The humans you need to find are:
  • Ms. Frost, is located in Frostina's Place, on the west side of Downtown Springdale.
  • Detective Holdit, located next to the Springdale Hot Springs in Blossom Heights.
  • Diana Gately, who is in the Gourd Pond Museum vault.
  • Mr. Zen, is in the Shoten Temple in Blossom Heights.
  • Mr. Stickler, who stands in the Springdale Community Center.
• Talk to Directator to continue the quest.
• Mr. Zen can be found in the north east in the raised area, Detective Holdit can be found in the south east, Mr. Stickler can be found in the south, Ms. Frost can be found in the north across the bridge and Diana Gately can be found running around the merry go rounds in the north east. They will run away from you so save your stamina until you are close by.
