Draaagin (Japanese: ホリュウ Horyū) is a Rank B Ice-attribute Yo-kai of the Slippery tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 2.

In Yo-kai Watch Busters 2, he is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Slurpent.

Biology[]

Draaagin is a dark teal Asian styled dragon. He has yellow eyelids with constantly closed circular eyes and light brown bushy eyebrows. He has a brown mane of hair, dark brown dragon horns and two long teal whiskers. Down his stomach is a caramel brown segmented section and he has yellow spots on his back. He has dark brown claws on his hands and feet and a yellow tail.

Yo-kai Watch 2[]

After the initial encounter with him at Excellent Tower, Draaagin can be found under cars, vending machines and in piles of garbage in Downtown Springdale. He can also be found in Paradise Springs.

He can also be freed from the present Crank-a-kai with a Light Blue Coin and the past with a Special Coin.

Draaagin is required for a Baffle Board in Abandoned Tunnel west that allows access to the east after a few in-game days. This is required for the quest Treasure Hunters Pt. 3.

Yo-kai Watch 3[]

Draaagin can be found in the Bada-Bing Tower and Meadowbrooke Farm.

He can also be found in Blasters T in the Pyramid of Clu ⑥ and the Snowstorm and Blizzard Labyrinths.

  • Draaagin's Japanese name, "Horyu," is a visual pun on horyū (保留, "postponing, second-guessing"), using the second kanji's pronounciation to make it a homophone with ryū (龍, "dragon").
  • His English name, "Draaagin," is a combination of "drag on" or "dragging" and "dragon," sporting the triple 'a' to simulate delayed a speech or thought.
  • His Spanish name, "Vacilagón," comes from vacilar (to hesitate) and dragón (dragon).
