Etymology

  • "Dubbles" is a corruption of doubles.
  • "Zorome Daimyōjin" translates as "Doubles Great God", or "Snake-Eyes Great God" (myōjin is a term for gods in syncretic Buddhism, equivalent to the Shintoist kami).
  • "Doblilete" combines "Doble" (Double) and "Cubilete" (Beaker).

  • Dubbles and Rollen are the first Yo-kai to have minor artwork changes by region, with the onomatopoeic Japanese goron (ごろん) sound being removed from international versions of it.
