Trivia[]

  • The Japanese title of the first segment is a reference to the Japanese show called The Best Ten, which showcased the top ten songs that were popular in Japan at that time. The set and getup of the hosts even look similar to the aforementioned program.
  • The Sleepover, Yo-kai Nosirs and Yo-kai Top Ten are the only episodes to be reanimated by OLM for the English dub, with the scenes of the Nosirs nose-hairs being changed to snot.
  • The "lyrics" in the Japanese version of Count Zapaway's song (which has the words Wakurukana (わかるかな) repeated over and over) is a possible reference to the Japanese children's series Dekirukana.
  • Count Zapaway's song would later be used as background music in Hanging With Mr. Crabbycat.
  • This episode marks the very first appearance of a Jewelnyan.
  • When Nate is about to eat the food, the "move" he makes in the Japanese version is called Golden Kinako Bomb Illusion (ゴールデン・きなこボムイリュージョン), which is a direct reference to Hanako Nanaha's Soccer Move from Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone.

Dub Differences[]

  • Just like the Nosirs' previous appearance in Yo-kai Nosirs, their nosehairs was changed to snot.
  • The scene of Manjimutt peeing was obscured by a sticker in the dub.
  • The weather map of Japan was edited to look like the United States.
  • The fried agepan bread was renamed to cruller.

Errors[]

  • Nate does not know that one could change the channels and the volume of the television without the remote despite Jibanyan doing so in a previous episode, Let’s Exorcise!.
