Old Lady Dream Theater: Act IV (Japanese: 妖怪むかし話 ～浦島太郎～,Yōkai Mukashibanashi ~Urashima Tarō~), Yo-kai Daiz (Japanese: 妖怪ボー坊,Yōkai Bōbō) and Yo-kai Cap'n Crash (Japanese: 妖怪大後悔船長,Yōkai Daikōkai-senchō) is the 57th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on February 20, 2015, and in the United States on January 21, 2017.
The Old Lady tells her dream relating to the "Tarō Urashima" story. During class, the Yo-kai Daiz causes everyone to space out all at once. The evil pirate captain Yo-kai Cap'n Crash causes Nate to regret every decision he makes.
Whisper predicted Daiz's past about him being made in a sausage factory later on in EP128 after Hailey, Usapyon, and Rinsin Repete learned how Daiz became a Yo-kai.
There are some popsicles that are a parody of the Japanese brand Garigari-kun.
Ironically, a popsicle parodying it would later appear as a Food item in Yo-kai Watch 4.
In Recap Time, Nate has a piece of twig in his mouth just like Masami Iwaki from the manga series Dokaben.
Dub Differences[]
The lady's outfit from the underwater base has a turquoise layer painted over her skin in the dub, likely to make it look less revealing.
In the Arabic dub, it was covered up even more to cover her neck and legs, with a black color as well as removing Komasan's romantic reaction to her appearance.
When the camera zooms into the picture of the old lady dreamer with her astronaut husband, the title saying (SFおばあちゃん 完 Science-Fiction Grandma: The End) was cut.
All insults thrown at Daiz were changed, except for Frankfurter.
