Kaptain Komasan and the Yeti (Japanese: 金妖スペシャル!コマさん探検隊!猛威のブリザード!ヒマラヤ完全踏破の果てに、伝説の雪男『イエ~イティ』を見た!,Kin'yō Supesharu! Koma-san Tankentai! Mōi no Burizādo! Himaraya Kanzen Tōha no Hate ni, Densetsu no Yukiotoko 'Yēiti' o Mita!), Yo-kai Bruff (Japanese: 妖怪 アニ鬼,Yōkai Aniki), and Yo-kai Dummkap (Japanese: 妖怪 ばか頭巾,Yōkai Bazukin) is the 64th episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on April 10, 2015, and in the United States on March 4, 2017.
Kaptain Komasan's Expedition Team tries to find the mythical Yeti, but not all as it seems when Komajiro finds out that they're in a fish warehouse. A new kid comes to the school, and others suddenly warm up to him as if he is their "big bro". Soon, Nathan Adams finds out about Yo-kai Bruff. During a cleanup session at Springdale Elementary, kids are suddenly messing around with the equipment, trying to be funny with the Yo-kai Dummkap behind this.
The backstory of Dummkap appears to take place at Springdale Elementary School since they have the exact same classroom layouts.
Dummkap's backstory references his origin as a Bōsai zukin, which was a hood worn by elementary school students to be prepared for any unexpected environmental disasters.
In the dub, Whisper references Harry Potter by asking "Are you going to wizard's school?" when Ken and Bruff's train appears to be a steam train.
Dub Differences[]
The Bōsai zukin was renamed to a "seat cushion".
In the Japanese version, the comedy duo's studio audience reactive positively to their routine, laughing at their gags. In the dub, this was changed to booing, with Nate and Whisper commenting on their poor performance.
This creates a continuity error, as Nate is seen enjoying and laughing at the show in a later episode.
Errors[]
The next shot when Dummkap tells his backstory after being inspirited by Tattletell, his mouth shape instantly changes to a frown.
