Gnew Guy Gnomey (Japanese: 新人のざしきわらし Shinjin no Zashiki-warashi), Yo-kai Mynimo (Japanese: 妖怪 えこひい鬼 Yōkai Ekohiiki), and Yo-kai Grumples (Japanese: 妖怪 しわくちゃん Yōkai Shiwaku-chan) is the 69th episode of Yo-kai Watch anime series. It was broadcasted in Japan on May 15, 2015, and in the United States on April 25, 2017.
Summary[]
Gnew Guy Gnomey has trouble doing various household chores. Springdale Elementary teacher Mr. Johnson suddenly feels laid-back than usual and gives select students better treatment, leaving Yo-kai Mynimo behind this. Nate notices that his homework has been crumpled and eventually finds out that Yo-kai Grumples is causing it.

The ghostly creatures in the guidebook that resemble Pokémon.
- The illustrated spiritual creatures that Gnomey looks at in his guidebook bears resemblance to Pokémon Gastly, Haunter and Gengar.
- In Japanese culture, a leaf sprouting in green tea is considered good luck.
- The scene where Nate, Jibanyan, Whisper and Grumples drinks the vegetarian drink as part of Toiletta's makeover process and comments on it in disgust is a reference to the Japanese Q'Sai green juice powder commercial in the 1990s where a man drinks it and comments on it negatively in the same fashion.
- This is the second time that Nate tries to do a power kick from Inazuma Eleven.
- This episode makes further reference to Springdale being in America when Whisper says, "That is not the American way."
Dub Differences[]
- When Jibanyan is summoned, he claims he is "in the middle of a flame war" while in the original, he was busy trying to get tickets for Next HarMEOWny.
- At the end of the Mynimo segment, the class wanted to get some milkshakes while in the original, they wanted to get juice.
- The "HANAKO" logo (Toiletta's Japanese name) on the shampoo bottle and around the banners was removed in the English dub.
- The scene of Nate, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Grumples consuming the medicinal pills were cut.
