Trivia[]

  • A joke subtlety jabbing at Nate's averageness is how Nate had the milk-flavored chocolate bar assigned to him. In most cases, vanilla is considered the most average flavor of confectionery.
  • The inside of the chocobars are revealed to have a wafer-like filling in this episode.
  • "Mission Nyanpossible" and "Mission Whispossible" are references to the spy film featuring Tom Cruise, Mission Impossible.
    • Jibanyan's promotional poster for Mission Nyanpossible is a reference to the "Demon Days" album cover of the British virtual band, Gorillaz.
  • The security robots resemble the Robotic Operating Buddy, more commonly known as R.O.B., which is a component for the Nintendo Entertainment System console.
  • Snidewinder's backstory may contradict Putasockinit's creation, due to Yo-kai evolutions in the anime usually coming from their pre-evolved states but he could be separately created compared to other copies of that Yo-kai.
  • The scenes where they show the replay footage of the contestants in slow motion is a reference to the 1970s Japanese sports show Bikkuri Nihon Shin-kiroku.

Errors[]

  • The person on the opposite side of Jibanyan's phone call mentioned how the chocolate bar was supposed to self-destruct in five minutes when it happened in less than five seconds.
  • When Jibanyan finds the exit from the ventilation system, his mouth is misaligned with his nose.
  • Nate inexplicably changes teams from the first to the second and third sports, whereas contestants in athletic tournaments don't really interchange between teams unless they're shown to be disqualified for breaking the rules.
