Yo-kai Watch Wiki

Yo-kai Medallium biography
"A huge salamander Yo-kai that lives in the inferno. Those who fall under its red-eyed gaze cower in fear before being swallowed whole."

Eyedra (Japanese: 地獄大山椒 Jigoku Ōsanshō) is the first Boss Yo-kai of the Infinite Inferno, needing to be defeated to get full access to the 2nd floor of it. He was introduced in Yo-kai Watch.

In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, Eyedra received a friend form, and is a Rank ZZZ Yo-kai of the Shady tribe.

Appearances[]

Biology[]

He appears exactly the same as Slimamander, but being black instead of a reddish color.

Although Eyedra's personality is mostly unknown, dialogue in Blasters implies that Eyedra is somewhat shy in nature and only fights when it has been provoked.

Profile[]

Yo-kai Watch[]

Eyedra is encountered on the first floor of the Infinite Inferno, having to be defeated to get full access to the 2nd floor.

When confronted, the background scenario shifts to one similar to the battle with Slimamander. Whisper even comments about Eyedra's similarities to Slimamander.

Yo-kai Watch 2[]

Identically to the previous game, Eyedra is encountered on the first floor of the Infinite Inferno, having to be defeated to get full access to the 2nd floor.

As with the previous game, the background scenario shifts to one similar to the battle with Slimamander. Whisper even comments about Eyedra's similarities to Slimamander, though his words are somewhat different.

Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]

Eyedra can be bought in the Score Attack Shop for 5000 Scota Points

Strategy[]

Being a pallet swap of Slimamander, Eyedra is fought in a similar manner, only difference being his Soultimate move renamed "Warty Wallop." The only way to damage Eyedra is to target the mouth in which its eye resides. The method to do this is to damage the heads until they open their mouth; therefore Soultimate Moves that attack multiple targets are extremely helpful.

After a while, Eyedra will close its open mouths and reposition its eye, requiring you to repeat the above pattern.

Being a stronger version of Slimamander, a higher-leveled team of Yo-kai is needed to stand a chance.
