Find Mermaidyn! is a Key Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest can be started automatically by progressing in the chapter Yo-kai Watch Model Zero, and it is recommended to be completed around Level 19.
Quest[]
After speaking to Toiletta at Harrisville School, she will reveal the location of Mermaidyn only after you defeat her in a game of Hide-and-Seek. After learning her location take the train to San Fantastico and head over to the Seaside Cave. You will need a C-Rank Watch in order to enter. You will also need to befriend Wiglin, Steppa, and Rhyth in order to activate the Baffle Boards to clear the dungeon. So bring plenty of Ramen and a Yo-kai possessing the Popularity Skill like Shmoopie or Cupistol to increase your chances. You can also use your new Model Zero Watch to poke negatively inspirited or loafing Yo-kai for hearts to increase your chances even further. And after that is all said and done, you will need to defeat Cap'n Crash at the end of the dungeon in order to bring Mermaidyn back to life. And as thanks for saving her, she will give you her medal.
