Flumpy (Japanese : ブカッコウ , Bukakkō ) is a Rank C Wind -attribute Yo-kai of the Eerie tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch .

Flumpy is a depressed dull melon-colored bird with feathers of yellow beneath the top layer. Flumpy‘s bottom is brown, while his feet are dull grey to match his beak. He hang his heads low, with the face on his torso making the same depressed expression. his has tiny red pupils. He can lay multicolored eggs that crack each time someone does something awkward until the egg is fully hatched.
Flumpy can make people feel awkward and uncomfortable.

"Bukakkō" is a combination of bukakkō (不格好, "awkward, unstylish") and kakkō (カッコウ, "cuckoo").
"Flumpy" is a combination of flump and frumpy which means "unstylish."
"Horterraro" is a combination of hortera (gaudy, meaning something that tries to be elegant but it's ridiculous) and raro (weird).
"Schlabat" is a corruption of "schlabbern" (to slobber) or "schlabbrig" (baggy).
