Gone Haunting! is a Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2 that can be started by talking to Alex outside of the Candy Stop in Blossom Heights and is recommended to be completed around Level 17.
Quest[]
The protagonist asks Alex why the group isn't in their secret base. Eric tells them they ran out of candy so came to the Candy Stop to stock up. Alex tells the protagonist the woman who owns the secret base tells them there's a ghost in the Old Mansion. Despite the other boys' disinterest, Alex suggests they spend a night in the mansion. Whisper suggests it's a Yo-kai so it's best they join them.
The three meet up at night at the mansion. Kenny suggests they all go home as he really shouldn't be out at night. Eric shows he found a key and Whisper states it's for the back door. The protagonist enters the back door, the others following. The protagonist finds two more keys and enters the western building. The room seems empty but the protagonist moves a folding screen that was covering a set of stairs to the attic. The protagonist finds a Yo-kai in the attic who reveals themselves to be Chirpster. He is mad the protagonist and their friends woke him up so attacks. After the fight, Chirpster seems content, saying the battle did him good but asks that next time they be a little more quiet in his home. The group are disappointed they didn't see a ghost however quickly start panicking, stating to see a while ghost with a grin. Whisper suddenly realizes they might be talking about him.

During quest[]
- The old lady running the Candy Stop said she saw something at the Old Mansion. Sounds like a chance to test our courage! We're meeting at the Old Mansion at night.
- We all came to the Old Mansion-let the test of nerves begin! We'll explore the Old Mansion from top to bottom before morning comes. We'd better watch out for Yo-kai, though!
Quest complete[]
- We beat Chirpster, the master of the mansion, and he disappeared. The rest of the club never saw any ghosts...until a white specter with a big grin popped up! Wait, that's just Whisper!
Guidance[]
- Go the to Old Mansion at night.
- Go in the front door.
- Use the Back Door Key on the side gate.
- Enter the left door in the back area.
- Head to the attic and climb down the ladder at the end of the room.
- Travel south into the large room and open the yellow treasure box to get the Large Fancy Key.
- Enter the attic through the main entrance and open the yellow treasure box in the far south-east to get the Small Fancy Key.
- Use both keys on the western building outside.
- Interact with the screen in the north.
- Go upstairs.
- Search the central-north of the room with the Yo-kai Watch.
- Talk to the Yo-kai.
Trivia[]
- The dialogue before the quest and its description contradict each other. Alex states the woman who owns their secret base told her about the ghost in the mansion however the description states Granny Edna told her.
