Tongue-Twister (Japanese: はなしカミ, Hanashikami) is a Rank C, Fire-attribute Yo-kai of the Heartful tribe.

In Yo-kai Watch 3, Tongue-Twister is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Elder Bloom.

Biology

Tongue-Twister resembles a light pink, floating Buddha, wearing a golden, sparkling helmet. His eyes are droopy, and he wears 2 golden braclets on each wrist, yellow pants, a purple necklace, and a large purple tongue hang out of his mouth. He has a little yellow dot on the center of his forehead.

Whomever Tongue-Twister inspirits, they "chew" on important/dramatic scenes far more than necessary.

Etymology

Hanashikami's name is a wordplay on "Story god" (Japanese: 話神, Hanashi-kami) and "teething" (Japanese: カミカミ, Kamikami)

"Tongue-Twister" comes from the phrase "Tongue-twister" (a meaning often used when words get mixed up and pronounced incorrectly).
