Yo-kai Medallium biography "Hare-Onna's Shadowside has been forecasted! The uncanny power of her tears that flow through the sky calls for rain clouds in the blue sky, and without regard to weather forecasts, even if the day is said to have abundant sun, she can make it rain in no time."

Hare-onna (Japanese: ハレ女, Hare-onna), also known as Ame-onna (Japanese: 雨女, Ame-onna), is a Rank B Shadowside Yo-kai of the Onnen tribe. She is the daughter of Ray O'Light and Drizzelda.

Biology

In her Lightside form, she's a humanoid Yo-kai with blonde hair and peach skin, she wears an orange dress with yellow polka dots and matching orange sandals. She carries an orange parasol decorated with sunflowers and a blue wisp on the top. She always has a happy expression.

In her Shadowside form, her hair becomes purple, her hair falls over her eye, and her skin becomes a pale blue. Her dress becomes blue with gray polka dots and looks tattered, and her sandals are switched with pink rain boots. She carries a red tattered umbrella that has a single black eye and always drips water. Her appearance resembles that of Drizzelda, and is always sad.

Hare-onna can be found in Soukenzan and in rifts and Ark doors in the future. She can also be found in the Gutsy Bones battles in Enma Tournament - Oni Arena as well as in the Ogralus, Kenshin Amaterasu and Acala Exalted missions in PuraPura Blasters.

Hare-onna also appears as an NPC Yo-kai. After giving her some candy, you can use her shapeshifting ability to control the weather. Strangely, she can't stop light drizzles and can't be found in Jack's or the Yo-kai world.

Etymology

Being the daughter of Ray O'Light (Japanese: 晴れ男, Hare Otoko) and Drizzelda (Japanese: 雨女, Ame-onna), both of her forms are named after them. Specifically, her Lightside is named after the former with woman mixed in(although she is a girl) and her shadowside is a direct borrowing of the latter's name.

Trivia

• Hare-onna is the only Yo-kai to have a Lightside & a Shadowside to be the same height.
• Because she's the daughter of Drizzelda, her Shadowside form resembles her appearance.
• Hare-onna is currently the only Shadowside Yo-kai to be child of 2 existing yo-kai. This is because Zappary, Frazzel and Statikid, which used this concept, were introduced in the original series. Curiously, she is also the only female of the group
• Hare-onna is one of the few Yo-kai whose attribute changes in its Shadowside form
