His appearance of his Lightside form looks like his original appearance with a few differences. One of his hand on the left was now shown with another cell phone, replacing the white 3DS handheld. He also has cloud-shaped wisp shown surrounding his head. He looks more tired than his original appearance.
Hinozall's Shadowside form looks very similar to his original counterpart. This time, however, he has a red undershirt, flaming hair, a more devilish look on his face along with no pupils, and a lava pool beneath him. He also has hitodama flooding out of his mouth, documents, and coffee mug.
Hi no Shin (Shadowside) is automatically befriended through Mystery 14 in Chapter 11. Once befriended, he has one heart for Bruno and two empty hearts.
