- Befriended: "The oni...devour me...! Let me eat you, oooooh!"
Etymology[]
- Hyakki-kui combines Hyakki (Japanese: 百鬼 Hundred Demons) and kui (Japanese: い Eater) also referencing Demuncher's japanese name (Oni-kui).
Origin[]
Hyakki-kui is based on the "百鬼夜行" (Hyakki Yagyō) or "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" concept which is a well-known theme in Japanese folklore, where supernatural beings are believed to roam the streets during certain nights. His name implies that he ate a hundred demons/oni.
