Ichiban Kuji

The Ichiban Kuji (Japanese: 一番くじ, Ichiban Kuji) is a lottery that is held by Bandai Spirits, held across convenience stores, bookstores, and amusement places across Japan. It is where the person draws a ticket in hopes of getting prizes that can range from plushies to small items like accessories, dependant on how high the rank is.

The Ichiban Kuji started back in 2003, where the products were originally focused mostly around Pokemon but has grown to cover other popular franchises in Japan of many different varieties over time.

Yo-kai Watch has had fourteen different monthly Ichinban Kuji campaigns, with the first being held in mid-2014 when the franchise started to hit it's peak there.

Ichiban Kuji Puchi Yo-kai Watch

Ichiban Kuji (Japanese: 一番くじぷち 妖怪ウォッチ, Ichiban Kuji Puchi Yōkai Uotchi) was the first Ichiban Kuji to be held and the only one to be a Ichinban Kuji Puchi, that was held in early August 2014. It focused on items that held Yo-kai Medals or cards from Yo-kai Watch: Ukiukipedia.

Ichiban Kuji Yo-kai Watch 〜Yo-kai Discovery, zura!!〜

Ichiban Kuji Yo-kai Watch 〜Yo-kai Discovery, zura!!〜 (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ 〜妖怪発見ズラ！！〜, Ichiban kuji yōkai u~otchi 〜 yōkai hakken zura!!〜) was the second Ichiban Kuji to be held and the first to be a regular one, which was held in September 2014. It had items that were released with the breakthrough of the franchise's popularity in Japan.

The Double Campaign held for this one was of a 60cm life-size Jibanyan plush and an alternate variant of the Detective Komasan plush with a gun and slightly different expression. Only fifty of them were made and given out, but the life-size Jibanyan plush would still continue to be produced, abeit with minor alterations.

Ichiban Kuji "Eiga Yōkai Wotchi: Tanjō no Himitsu da-nyan!"

Ichiban Kuji "Yo-kai Watch Movie: The Secret of Birth, nyan! (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ 〜妖怪発見ズラ！！, Ichiban kuji "Eiga Yōkai Wotchi: Tanjō no Himitsu da-nyan!") was the third Ichiban Kuji, held in December 2014. As the title implies, the item prizes are based off Yo-kai Watch: The Movie, most notably focusing around Hovernyan and Darknyan.

The Double Campaign prize was a bigger-sized version of the Jibanyan water bottle cushion which is 75cm compared to 40cm.

Ichiban Kuji Yo-kai Watch: Welcome to the Yo-kai World (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ 妖怪ワールドヘいらっしゃ〜い, Ichiban kuji Yōkai u~otchi Yōkai Wārudo he Irassha~i) was the fourth Ichiban Kuji held in March 2015. It focused on a variety of items, leaning more towards home-based items.

The Double Campaign prize was a big Dianyan face cushion that resembled the Jibanyan cushion. Only a hundred of them were made and given out as prizes.

Ichiban Kuji Yo-kai Watch: Longing of The Strongest Yo-kai Big Set!! (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ 憧れの最強妖怪大集合！！, Ichiban kuji yōkai u~otchi akogareno saikyō yōkai dai shūgō!!) was the fifth Ichiban Kuji to be held from June 20, 2015. It focused on Yo-kai that are considered the strongest, most notably revolving around Big Bosses like Rubeus J and Hardy Hound.

The Double Campaign prize was a Hardy Hound pillow with Jibanyan S, Komasan S, and Komajiro S present on the back. Only a hundred of them were produced and given out.

Ichiban Kuji Yo-kai Watch ~Big Things in the Shopping Center, nyan!~ (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ～ショッピングセンターでおかいものニャン！～, Ichiban kuji yōkai u~otchi ~shoppingusentā de okaimo no nyan!~) was the sixth Ichiban Kuji that was held in July 2015. It was a tie-in to the Yoroz Mart (Real Life) store that opened on the internet, with prizes focusing on things that can be seen in a shop.

Ichiban Kuji (Japanese: 一番くじ 妖怪ウォッチ スター登場！ USA うさピョン, Ichiban kuji yōkai u~otchi sutā tōjō! usapyon) was the seventh Ichiban Kuji held in September 2015, with items focusing on Usapyon's debut in the Yo-kai Watch franchise.

A plush variant of Usapyon Sparking Star Plush was given as the campaign prize for a hundred select participants.

Ichiban Kuji Eiga Yo-kai Watch: Lord Enma and the Five Tales da-nyan! (Japanese: 一番くじ 映画 妖怪ウォッチ エンマ大王と5つの物語だニャン！, Eiga Yōkai Wotchi: Enma-daiō to Itsutsu no Monogatari da-nyan!) was the eighth Ichiban Kuji held in December 2015, to tie in with the theatrical release of M02. It was loosely focused on the characters of the movie, notably featuring Usapyon and Hovernyan.

The campaign prize was a big plush of Koma Kaachan, and only a hundred of them were made.
