Impass
Yo-kai Medallium biography
"You...you just can't get by Impass. Why?! What's his motivation?! What's the story behind him?! Nobody knows..."
Impass (Japanese : むりだ城 , Muridajō ) is an Earth -attribute Yo-kai of the Tough tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch . Introduced as a Rank A , Impass was demoted to Rank B in Yo-kai Watch Blasters .
Impass evolves from Noway starting at level 29. As of Yo-kai Watch Blasters , he now evolves from Noway when fused with a Keystone .
Impass is also one of the 13 Yo-kai with a white counterpart who serves McKraken .

Biology [ ]
As an evolution of Noway, Impass is a white wall with a extended bottom part covered in stones. He has a navy blue roof with two golden ornaments and wears grey geta sandals. Impass seem to have the same facial features and long arms as his pre-evolution.
Like Noway, Impass will always refuse commands. However, unlike Noway, reverse psychology does not work on Impass.
White Impass is identical to his colored counterpart except that his body is white (except the roof, stones and sandals that are grey) and that he helped McKraken to conquer the Human World.
In the 2nd season of the Mr. Crabbycat series, Impass is shown to be Noway's father. He constantly points out to Mr. Crabbycat the troubles happening to Noway, such as anonymous doodles on Noway's back.

Evolve Noway at level 29.
Both normal and white Impass appears in the Liar Mountain and Hooligan Road of the Yo-kai World . Only the normal Impass can be befriended.

Quotes [ ]
In the anime [ ]
Impass first appears in EP110 , where he complains at Mr. Crabbycat about his son Noway for not vault jumping high enough.
Etymology [ ]
"Muridajō" sounds similar to muri da yo! ("That's just impossible!" / "No way in heck!"). The -jō part of his name means castle.
"Impass" combines impasse and pass .
"Impás" is a combiation of "Imposible" (Impossible) with "Pase" (Pass) and maybe "Castillo" (Castle).
"Sperrich" combines "sperren" (to block) and the male name "Erich."
"Passpa" comes from "Passe pas" (don't pass).
"Imposs" comes from "Impossibile" (Impossible).
