The Job Board (Japanese: 求人ボード Kyūjin bōdo) is a mechanic in Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life. The player can assign students to clubs to increase their school level. A higher school level opens up more missions.
Overview[]
The goal of the Job Board is to fill in the clubs requirements with students cards. Each club requires a different amount of Academic, Physical and Artistic skills and has five levels of completion that give different rewards. The slots in Clubs will require a different ranking of student cards from 1 to 5 with colours going from white, green, blue, purple then gold.
To level up students, the player must interact with them in the academy. Students that can be used as student cards have a blue circle with a smaller circle in the centre on the map. Students will ask for different things to level up. These can be materials, Money, Likes from that day or overall Likes. The amount asked for will change depending on the student's rank, with a higher rank needing more. A higher rank also needs more levels in that rank to be upgraded. Rank 1 needs one level up, rank 2 two, rank 3 four, and rank 4 eight. A rank 5 student that is found in the academy will merely gift the player an item when talked to, as they can't be levelled up any higher.
Student cards can be viewed in the inventory in a grid. With students that have not been met, but the students adjacent to them in the grid have been, the player can view what is required to level them up as well as where they will appear in the academy. The top left of the student card shows an icon of the Club they are assigned to if they are, a green icon of a person will appear in the top right if they are currently on campus. The students on campus will change with real world days. Each day also sets a random student or two to appear in the YSP club in the academy. There, they will level up for free without an item needed.
