In the anime[]

Yo-kai Watch[]

K'mon-K'mon debuted in EP027. He is extremely impatient to get a Yo-kai Watch Model Zero until he snaps and begins to charge through the line. He was never officially defeated, though he did fight Jibanyan. In the second half of the episode, Nate was shown with a Model Zero, so his line crashing didn't affect Nate getting the new watch. It is revealed later in the series that Nate got K'mon-K'mon's medal.

He is first summoned in EP139 in an effort to deal with Tomorrow Gal, but he becomes the second Yo-kai to get an unlucky Sushi summon and ate wasabi sushi, like Jibanyan.

Etymology[]

  • "K'mon-K'mon" is a corruption of "come on, come on."
  • "Matenshi" is a wordplay on matenshi (Japanese: 待てんし "can't wait") and matenshi (Japanese: 魔天使 "demonic angel").
  • "Espaoi" is a corruption and contraction of the phrase "Es para hoy" (It is for today).
  • "Subitora" is a play on subito (right now) and ora (now).

Origin[]

K'mon-K'mon is based on a fallen angel.
