King Deadward (Japanese: ゴーキングデッド Gōkingu Deddo) is an Rank S, Earth-attribute Mystery Legendary Yo-kai of the Tough tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3.

In Yo-kai Watch: Ukiukipedia Kiwami and Yo-kai Watch: Ukiukipedia Gakuen Y, he is classified as the Onnen tribe.

Biology[]

King Deadward resembles a zombie with mauve hair, and wears bandages that wrap around most of his head. His skin is a rotten green color with blue-gray splotches. He wears a gold crown with an amethyst purple flame coming out of the top and brass armor with a tattered red cape. His arms are also wrapped with bandages and he holds a glowing sword. He wears dark blue pants, which are held by a gold belt with a skull-shaped buckle, and golden boots, in which the right is missing the shaft, revealing his femur.

King Deadward can only be befriended in Blasters T mode, which is available in Treasure Pack and Sukiyaki in the Japanese version.

  1. Obtain the Go-king Stone to gain access to the Labyrinth of Go-king Dead.
  2. Battle King Deadward as a Boss. If lucky, you will obtain his medal.

Etymology[]

  • Go King Dead is a pun on "The Walking Dead" (Japanese: ウォーキング・デッド) with Go sounding like the missing syllable from the title.
  • King Deadward is a pun on King Edward and dead, as he is a zombie.
  • Rey Palmiro is a pun on Rey Ramiro (King Ramiro) and "Palmar" (Die).

Origin[]

Go-king Dead is based on the name of the American zombie drama The Walking Dead.

Trivia[]

  • Although he is supposed to be the king of zombies, befriending him makes no difference during Zombie Night.
  • His personality is reflected in his ability.
