He has two additional forms, who are Kakusei Kitaro (Japanese: 鬼太郎,Kitarō) which is Rank Rank SS and Saranaru Kakusei Kitaro (Japanese: 鬼太郎,Kitarō) which is Rank SSS.
Kitaro is a Yo-kai that looks like a young boy. He has short deep sliver/gray hair with long bangs that covers his missing left eye, and he wears a black and yellow striped vest called the Reimo Chanchanko over an old-fashioned school uniform. He also wears Japanese style wooden sandals, called geta.
Kitaro is the last living member of the Ghost Tribe, he's also the son of Medama-Oyaji, who often rides in the empty eye socket .and pokes out of Kitaro's hair.
It has a lock of hair that rises to indicate the presence of an unknown Yo-Kai, it is called "Yo-kai Antenna".

Yo-kai Watch 4[]
In Yo-kai Watch 4, Medama-Oyaji is missing and The Detective Agency has to find the missing eyeball. Kitaro tells them that he feels a strong Ghost Energy in two places, Tatsumi Kawabata North and the Shin Motomachi Shopping area. In Tatsumi Kawabata North, they find Honmaguro-taishou, who tells them that a small eyeball Yo-kai asked him if fish-eyes are good for the eyesight. This creeped him out. In Shin Motomachi Shopping area, the squad finds Ogu, Togu and Mogu. They tell Touma about a eyeball Yo-kai who rushed into a store to search for something. The gang goes to Kitaro and they try to get all the evidence together. Kitaro thinks that Medama-Oyaji maybe searched for eye drops. Whisper tells them that the Yo-kai World has super special eye drops called "Mega Pachi Clean". Those eye drops don't exist anymore, so they travel to the past Yo-kai World and talk with Insomni, the shop owner. She tells them she hasn't seen Medama-Oyaji and the eye drops are sold out, but after after a fight she gives them her eye drops. [Will finish later]
Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]
Kitaro and his SS forms are limited-time event only Yo-kai in the tournament event "Yo-kai Watch vs GeGeGe no Kitaro: Dream Match". His SSS form can be obtained via fusion.

Unlike most of his anime adaptations, he has silver hair like the manga and 1968 Anime instead of the brown hair which is a mainstay for later instances.
