Kittylumbus (Japanese: 寝コロンブス Nekoronbusu, Necolumbus) is a Rank D, Water-attribute 'Merican Yo-kai of the Charming tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3.

Biology[]
Kittylumbus is a feline Yo-kai with light-blue fur, medium tipped pointy ears, white inner ears, black eyes with stars as pupils, tiny pink nose, white paws, and a tail with the tip being medium blue and also shaped like an anchor. He wears a dark blue Colonial sailor outfit, consisting of a bicorn (type of hat) with golden rimming and buttons, and a lime yellow-green wisp on top, and a dark coat with yellow sleeve cuffs. He is seen lying down by the stomach and is also holding a telescope.
Kittylumbus is a lazy cat Yo-kai who is looking for a new continent to relax on and be lazy, and also loves to dawdle.

Kittylumbus takes the role of Baku in Yo-kai Watch 3 in being Nate's decoy at night; therefore he is automatically befriended.
He can also be befriended in Northbeech under the cars.
He is required for a Baffle Board in Downtown Springdale by the beach. He allows the player to rematch Yo-kaiju with Blazikong T.

In the anime[]
In EP102, Nate is ready to go on a shopping trip with his mom, but sees that she's lazing around. He then pulls out the Watch and sees Kittylumbus laying on the floor, and asks him to leave, but he politely refuses, claiming that Nate's house is "a land of relaxation", which Jibanyan agrees with. Whisper then gets an email from Hidabat, telling him to tell Nate to summon him, which he does, and he offers Kittylumbus a better place to relax, which is a luxury closet with pizza delivery. Kittylumbus happily accepts the offer.
Etymology[]
- "Necolumbus" is a portmanteau of neko (ネコ) the Japanese word for "cat", nekorobu (寝転ぶ) to lie down, and 'Christopher Columbus'(コロンブス koronbusu), who is generically regarded as the discoverer of America, though untrue.
- "Kittylumbus" is a portmanteau of Kitty and Christopher Columbus.
- "Vasco de Gamiaou" is a portmanteau of miaou (meow in the French spelling) and Vasco de Gama, the real first European (he's Spanish) to discover a road to India through the Western part of the world, but is shortened as "V. de Gamiaou" due text limitations.
- "Gatallanes" is a combination of "Gato" (Cat) and "Fernando Magallanes" (Ferdinand Magellan), Portuguese navigator, one of the great discoverers at the service of Spain.
- "Micellano" is a combination of "micio" (kitten) and "Magellano" (italian surname of Ferdinand Magellan).

Kittylumbus is based on Indigo, a cat who inspired Christopher Columbus to be an explorer.

- In the anime, Kittylumbus is the only known Yo-kai that can evolve into a Legendary VIP Yo-kai.
- Kittylumbus is the first Cat Yo-kai that hails from the Charming tribe to not have a shared design basis with Jibanyan.
- Kittylumbus' "random" nicknames are: Morgan, Hector, Laurent and Olivier.
