Kyousen Yata resembles Mirapo. He is a mirror with a dark green frame with skinny arms and diminutive legs. He has a set of circular eyes and an oval mouth with a slim tongue protruding from it. The space reflected by the mirror is teal. In his frame has red jewels forming a triangle and two green gems near the top red jewel. Two horns are located in besides his frame.

Kyousen Yata appeared in the "Half-Demon Dragon Slayer 2 ~The Trial of the Three Sacred Treasures Edition~" event that lasted from July 16, 2024, to July 31, 2024. There was a chance of befriending him in the limited Half-Demon Dragon Slayer 2 Gasha, giving the damage and defense bonus & the nullification of the Soultimate gauge drain and damage balls drop on the Gyokusen Yasakani Boss stage located on the Back: Mountain of Trials (Japanese: 裏・試練の山 Ura Shiren no Yama) map.

Etymology[]
Kyousen Yata combines Yata no Kagami with Ungaikyō (Mirapo) and Sen (Hermit) reflecting its association with the Dragon Hermit Country.
Origin[]
Kyousen Yata combine elements from Japanese mythology like "Yata no Kagami" one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan (Japanese: 三種の神器 Sanshu no Jingi). The Yata no Kagami is a sacred mirror that symbolizes wisdom and honesty. According to Japanese mythology, it was used to lure the sun goddess Amaterasu out of her cave, restoring light to the world. It is traditionally associated with the Shinto religion and is enshrined at the Ise Grand Shrine.
