Libertynyan has an apperance similar to Jibanyan. There are some differences because he wears some robes and an accessory on his head that makes him dressed as the Statue of Liberty. He also holds a book that bears resemblance to a Yo-kai Pad and a torch.
His Rank S form, Libertynyan S nearly looks exactly identical to Libertynyan. He dons an intimidating expression, and a bright red aura surrounds him.
Libertynyan SS' robe has a brighter yellow shade. His Yo-kai Pad appears to be byzantium with a golden wisp. His torch and crown are golden, and the torch's flame is orange. He also has a bright red aura surrounding him along with an intimidating expression on his face.
Libertynyan was available as an event with event missions temporarily. He was then added to the Crank-a-kai shortly with double S-Rank chances.

During the 4th of July Libertynyan Event, the player could befriend Libertynyan S on Hidden Stage 2 in Ultra Liberty Way.
Libertynyan SS[]
During the 4th of July Libertynyan Event, the player could pull the Libertynyan SS Pass from the Lucky Crank-a-kai. Using the Libertynyan SS Pass warped the player to the Liberty Room, which contained a special stage with Libertynyan SS on it. If the player failed to befriend him on the stage, the player must obtain another Libertynyan SS Pass for another chance to befriend him.

Etymology[]
"Libertynyan" is a combination of liberty or Statue of Liberty and nyan.
Origin[]
As his name and design implies, Libertynyan is based off of the Statue of Liberty monument, found in New York in the United States of America.
Trivia[]
Libertynyan's design was also used in the New York Comic Con 2015 Yo-kai Medal, which celebrated the western debut of the franchise despite reusing Jibanyan's Yo-kai Medal as a base.
Libertynyan oddly uses Jibanyan's Japanese voice clip when his Wib Wob is popped, which goes the same for his Rank S and Rank SS forms. This makes him, Robokoma, and Slimamander to retain their Japanese voice.
Libertynyan is the only Yo-kai exclusive to the American version of Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble to have unique animations.
Despite being based off an American monument, Libertynyan is not a 'Merican Yo-kai, in a similar vein to Apelican.
In the internal text data for Wibble Wobble, he is referred to in Japanese as Jiyuu-no-Megaminyan (自由の女神ニャン, Statue of Liberty-nyan, or lit. Goddess of Liberty-nyan), while his powered up forms are shortened down to Megaminyan S (女神ニャンS, lit. Goddess-nyan S) and Megaminyan SS (女神ニャンSS, lit. Goddess-nyan SS).
Despite being unavailable in the Japanese version of Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, Soultimate assets for Libertynyan, Libertynyan S, and Libertynyan SS can be found in the game's files.
