The Local Yo-kai (Japanese: ご当地妖怪 Gotochi Yōkai) are a group of Rare Yo-kai which debuted in Yo-kai Watch 2.

These Yo-kai all evolve when fused with specific items.

How to befriend (Japanese)

As part of a collaboration with the Arcade game Yo-kai Watch: Tomodachi Ukiukipedia, these Yo-Kai are spread across the regions of Japan and their cards must be obtained and their QR codes scanned by the 3DS's camera in order to obtain a Local Coin to use in the Crank-a-kai in order to obtain the Rank D Local Yo-kai.

To get the fusion items needed for them to evolve, one must acquire a password.

How to befriend (English)

You must use a password which will give you a Traveler's Coin. Then by using them in the Crank-a-kai you can have the chance to obtain the Rank D Local Yo-kai.

To get their fusion items needed for them to evolve, one must use another password.
