Looking back on the memorable first encounter between Nathan Adams, a very ordinary fifth grader, and Whisper, a Yo-kai butler. There is no Yo-kai Watch on Nate's arm! Wash Your Hands[]
Bear and Katie came to the place where Nate was washing his hands in the restroom. Nate wondered if bear would wash his hands as well. He left without washing at all! When Nate, who thought it was strange, illuminated the area with a Yo-kai Watch, there was a Yo-kai Pandle who made the possessed person careless. Furthermore, other classmates are possessed with all kinds of Yo-kai, and the restroom is confused. In such a case, summon a Yo-kai from the far future, "Robonyan F", and solve it.
This episode confirms that it takes place after Yo-kai Watch! due to the Arcane Watch cameoing in the other Yo-kai Watch models.
Whisper insults Nate by having average height and weight, which was previously brought up in the introductory scene of Jibanyan's Secret Past in the Yo-kai Watch anime series.
This is the first episode of a Yo-kai Watch anime to use music that isn't from the video games, notably in the scene where Whisper imagines himself as a drunkard at an oden stand.

In the scene where Jibanyan asks about Whisper's behavior, the lines are inconsistently drawn thin.
