This year is Nate who was willing to finish the homework of summer vacation by the end of July. However, he ended up not doing his homework until the last minute of summer vacation. Nate said that it is a Yo-kai's doing not to do homework until the last minute every year, even though it is completely his fault. When he lit up the area with the Yo-kai Watch, there is a figure of the Yo-kai "Dismarelda" that makes the possessed person depressed and dull. Nate asks Dismarelda if he was possessed by her and distracted him.

Usapyon, who is excited by the summer heat in Japan, wonders how Japanese Yo-kai spend their summers and decides to look around at other Yo-kai. Every Yo-kai seemed to be struggling to survive the hot summer. The last place he went to was Nate's house with Jibanyan and Whisper. In the room where the cooler was good, Usapyon also decided to take off his suit and cool off with Jibanyan and so on.
