Makeover Takeover (Japanese: オシャレになりたくて Oshare ni naritakute) is a quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest giver is Maya, who is located to the east of Whatta Find in Shopper's Row. It is recommended to be completed around Level 5.
Quest[]
Maya asks the protagonist what they think of Shelly, with them saying she's fine. Maya retorts saying she is too plain and wants to give her a makeover much to Shelly's dismay. She asks the protagonist for their help saying she needs all the help she can. Maya states that they have to find Shelly's unique style and suggests going to a book store to browse fashion magazines.
At Settle In Bookstore, Whisper suggests that Shelly might need a confidence boost. Maya then states they're going to a clothes shop next. The protagonist heads to outside Superior Style to see Shelly doesn't have the confidence to go in. Whisper suggests they skip the courage part and head straight to her being stylish and suggests they use Dazzabel. She inspirits Shelly making her overzealous which the protagonist realises is a bad idea. Dazzabel is enraged, attacking the protagonist in recoil. The protagonist realises it was all a bad idea, stating they need to apologize to Shelly.

- Shelly likes sensible clothing, but Maya has a big makeover plan. Will it work?
During quest[]
- Shelly's daily look is kind of plain, so Maya has decided to give her a glamorous makeover! The first step is to find a fashion magazine for Shelly at the Settle In Bookstore.
Quest complete[]
- Dazzabel's sense of style is terrible, and Shelly started to veer wildly into the unfashionable realm. She's back to normal now, but it looks like we're going to look for another way to glam her up.
Guidance[]
- Head to Settle In Bookstore in Springdale Flower Road, Shopper's Row.
- Head to outside Superior Style to the north.
- Befriend Dazzabel who can be found in Breezy Hills.
- Return to outside Superior Style.
