Mamakoma (Japanese: コマ母ちゃん Koma Kaachan), known in the Animax subtitled airing of Yo-kai Watch! as Koma Mum, is a Yo-kai of the Charming tribe. She was first introduced in Yo-kai Watch the Movie: Lord Enma and the Five Tales, Nyan!, as the mother of Komasan and Komajiro.
In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, she is a Rank Z Yo-kai of the Heartful tribe.
According to her Yo-kai Keystone, she is classified as Onechanside Yo-kai of the Omamori tribe.

Biology[]
Mamakoma is a giant, white, blob-like Komainu Yo-kai with purple swirls. She is very motherly and loves children, evidenced by how she happily took in Komasaburo.
Relationships[]
Komasan and Komajiro[]
Mamakoma is the mother of Komasan and Komajiro and deeply loves and cares for her two sons. She is commonly written to by Komasan, and they both wish to take care of her in the off-hand chance she visits. This is shown in an episode of the Yo-kai Watch anime where Komasan goes to a sushi restaurant to see if it would be something she would like.
Komasaburo[]
Komasaburo is Mamakoma's adopted human son. She deeply cares about him, and understood that she may not be a perfect fit as his mother, due to being a Yo-Kai. However, she ended up staying with him because Komasaburo loves her back.
Komami[]
Mamakoma is the mother of Komami, the younger sister of Komasan and Komajiro.

Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]
Mamakoma appeared in the "Gates of Whimsy ~A journey to find Komami~" event that lasted from June 1, 2019, to June 15, 2019. There was a chance of befriending her in the limited Crank-a-kai. She gave more damage in the Onsen Komasan Gates of Whimsy.

Yo-kai Watch[]
In M02, Komasan and Komajiro visit Mamakoma, finding out that she has become the adoptive mother of a human baby that she named Komasaburo. After a few antics during their visit, Mamakoma reunites Komasaburo with his parents.
She briefly appears in one of the flashback scenes of Let's Go To Work!: Yo-kai Daycare, where she drops off Komasan and Komajiro in a nursery after Komasan realizes how much he misses his mother.
In M03, Mamakoma was summoned by Nate to save Kanami from suffering a fatal fall. It turned out that Nate got her Yo-kai Medal from Komasan as a thank-you gift.
She briefly appears in EP154, where Komasan and Komajiro claims her responsibility for creating a oval-shaped crop circle to Agent Blunder and Folly.
Yo-kai Watch![]
Mamakoma appears in EX002. In the episode, she calls both Komasan and Komajiro to announce a new little sister joining the family. She shows them a social media website called Inzuragram, where it shows photos taken from the person, and kindly asks them both to find her.

- Mamakoma is a combination of mama and koma, referring to komainu.
- Koma Kaachan is a combination of koma and kaachan (Japanese: 母ちゃん "mother").

- Mamakoma is the first komainu Yo-kai to be female. The second would be Komami.
- Mamakoma's English name is only known to exist because of an English-language prototype of the Yo-kai Watch Model U toy. Due to this, the exact spelling of the name (and whether or not her name is still officially "Mamakoma") is unknown. She shares this with Santa Colossus.
- Interestingly, Mamakoma has two official tribes. The first tribe is the Charming tribe, which she was revealed to be in during her introduction in Yo-kai Watch the Movie: Lord Enma and the Five Tales, Nyan!. The other tribe is the Heartful tribe, which she was revealed to be in when she was added to Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble for the Gates of Whimsy ~The Search for Komami~ event.
- While most Wib Wobs in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble only show the Yo-kai's head, Mamakoma's Wib Wob shows her entire body.
- Mamakoma's U Medal is the only Yo-kai Medal to have its text obscured by the artwork.
