Etymology[]

"Mame Inugami" is derived from "mame" (Japanese: child) and "Inugami" (Japanese: 犬神), Frostail's Japanese name. The Jun Iku added to the name of this variant comes from the Chinese spelling of Xun Yu, a military official and politician that had served as an advisor to general Cao Cao. This is the same name given to the commander variants for Kyubi, Frostail, and Puni Kyubi, other fox Yo-kai.
